Due to the Corona Virus, the events industry has drastically changed.  While other companies are waiting for live events to come back, Stacy has decided to move forward to create the next generation of events “Live Virtual Events.”  Partnering with Eric Grosshans her long time tech savvy friend they created “LIve Virtual Events.”

Her background of planning every kind of event from intimate cocktail parties to outdoor festivals and more in a variety of local, national and international locations gives her the ability to handle any type of event.  Many of these events have received international, as well as, national recognition.

In addition, she has produced Commercials, Videos, Public Service Announcements and even an in-house Cable Channel.    This knowledge ensures that your Speakers and Sponsors are in good hands.

Her accomplishments have been recognized with many nominations and awards.  She has been nominated for the prestigious Special Events Magazine International Gala Award eight times and in 1994, won for the “Best Coordinated Corporate Event.”  In addition, she has been nominated for the Esprit award three times and in 2007 won for “Best Team Effort.” In 2007 she was honored to be named “Event Planner of the Year” by BizBashFla Magazine. And in 2008, her team won Event Solutions “Project Eureka” challenge. 

Stacy has also been written about and has been the subject of, numerous articles.   She is a sought after speaker nationally and internationally.  Her engagements include InTents Conference – 1994, Special Events Magazine –  1994-2017, ISES EventWorld – 2004

Eric Grosshans, MCSE

Welcome to the New Normal…from Live to Virtual…from Office to Work-from-Home. 2020 has brought drastic change to the events industry.  While many companies are awaiting the return of the “live event,” Eric prefers to think of this change as a challenge to move forward into the 21st century.  To realize this vision, Eric has partnered with Stacy Stern, his longtime entrepreneurial, event planning professional to create “Live Virtual Events.”

During his career, Eric has transformed from actor, to IT director, to special effects director, to … wait for it … virtual event designer. He has always pursued the creative challenge, including sitting down with a company to strategize successful, entertaining and engaging events, while planning for a forward-facing future.

Eric’s background is the “perfect storm” bridging technology, creativity and understanding for the purpose of planning a customized, engaging and successful Virtual Event.

Career Highlights (it gets a little techie here):

  • Network development connecting 8 separate restaurants with larger main frame
  • VOIP phone technology for large US based company in 1999 (Skype was still a dream)
  • RFID engineer for libraries, to increase efficiency and prevent library closure
  • Infrastructure manager, who reduced late deliveries from 55% to 99% on time
  • Lighting design and programming for the band, Coldplay
  • Application integration, combining existing apps into a larger, automated platform
    • This is what a Virtual Event Platform does
    • Combine the best of the industries (i.e. Zoom, Slido, Slack, Smartsheet, etc.)
